Southpoint School, Inc.

Raising up a Generation of Filipino Servant Leaders

 

The school was established in 1995 by parents of bright and capable students who desired quality education and character formation, rendered by teachers with pastoral gifts.

The founders, faculty and staff were of the conviction that early childhood through teens are the crucial years when the values of parents and their spiritual community, need to be reinforced by the school, where a student spends most of his active hours.

They believed that the three most important values are character, intelligence and leadership. For a student to enter college and prepare for his/her chosen profession, he/she needs to be academically disciplined, emotionally stable, founded on strong values, and able to lead him/herself before becoming a person of influence. It is for this reason that Southpoint School was founded – to prepare students for college, but also in some way, to prepare them for life.

On its first year of operation, it offered only the Preschool level. Over the years, the school has grown and expanded to include complete Elementary and High School levels with more and more enrollees coming in every year. From its first rented campus, the school has gone on to build its present facility to accommodate its ever-growing clientele consisting not only of church members but of children from various cultural and religious backgrounds.
